Rigo would counter the **** out of Mares, rushing a fighter the way Mares did Moreno tonight only works to a certain degree and to a certain level. Rigo would easily find a way to counter Mares coming in and rock him. Unlike Moreno, Rigondeaux has a lot of pop in his punches and can end the night with one punch.

Not saying that I wasn't impressed by Mares tonight, believe me, I was ringside covering this fight. But still, I don't see him being able to do what he did against Moreno against Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux would make it more a boxing match and find a way to win.
