You cant score if you gave him only two rounds. They landed THE SAME NUMBER OF PUNCHES, and Moreno landed the showier ones. Most of what Mares landed were wild face first arm punches while charging. They were hitting air and arms which is why his connect % was so goddamn low. Without the horrifically bad ref, the fight was very close. But if you feel like fights are won on who throws more, then by all means, give the fight to the guy giving the business to the air around his opponent.
That ref is a P.O.S.!!!!!

Mate, that was in the first round. He then proceeded to throw about ten low blow combinations each round for the following 11 rounds without a single extra warning or point deduction. The ref had explicitly stated that any more low blows, because he'd already thrown about ten in one round, and he'd take a point away, then for some unknown reason, the ref goes into hiding despite standing right in front of about another 50 low blows without a word.
Suddenly, Moreno gets a point taken off all of a sudden, coincidentally when he was making a late charge and starting to gather real momentum, and it takes the wind out of his sails.Comment

Third time. He constantly fouled Darchinyan, he constantly fouled Agbeko, and he constantly fouled Moreno, and the refs not only let him get away with it, they admonished the other fighter. It's complete and utter bullsh**. Mares is the dirtiest fighter in the entire sport, and he's allowed to get away with everything.Comment
