Baldomir was Floyds last fight under Arum, after that he left for DLH at 154 which is back to my original point several posts above. So basically what we are arguing is you think Floyd ducked margarito by facing the lineal champion and that facing the lineal champion was a bad decision. You said it yourself margarito was at welter for years, but yet he never became lineal...
In progression of wins it went DLH>Mosley>forest>Mayorga>Spinks>Judah>baldo
Margarito was there the entire time but never got in the mix. Floyd had only 3 fights at welterweight before going up to 154. Floyd was set to face judah in his second fight at welterweight and had to push the fight for the title off to his 3rd fight. Margo was there for years and never fought for that title.
Floyd won that title, looked at arums offer of $8 million for the margarito fight, asked for $10 million for that fight, which arum wouldnt give him, then exercised his buy out right in his contract to pay arum like 100k to get out and go to 154 to fight DLH for $20 Million
