          Nobody really...

If we exclude bums like Earnie Shavers and Ken Norton,
he only beated this Gerry Cooney guy and an old Alì.

It's true that Wladimir has fought some bums like Mormeck and Haye.

But everybody fights a bum or two along the way. For example, Froch is about to fight Mack.

But he's also beaten a lot of good heavyweights like 2000 Byrd, prime McCline (coming off a 19 fight win streak), prime 2005 Peter, 2008 Tony Thompson, Ruslan Chagaev, the underrated Sultan Ibragimov, 29-0 Calvin Brock, and the crafty Eddie Chambers.

Wlad is definitely top 5 p4p, and I won't argue with anyone who puts him at #1.

                There's a surprise .

He's definitely top 10, IMO. I think Freedom., and other Klitschko fans, hype-up Wlad's resume too much. Saying that, he hasn't ducked any HW contenders in recent times.

I rank Froch, Ward, Mayweather, Pacquaio, Donaire, Martinez et al above him.

Why not? He's as good as anybody else out there, p4p.

I have Wlad at #4, after Ward, Mayweather and Pacquaio.
He does have a very solid resume and he was absolutely dominant in every single fight in the last 8 years... That's quite impressive even if the list of opponents is not the greatest..

He did beat some very good fighters all more or less in their primes - Haye, Byrd X2, McCline, Peter, Thompson, Chagaev, Ibragimov and he looked very dominant in all of these fights.

I've got a good idea. Why don't we all go and spit on Sugar Ray Robinson's grave?

                      Oh wait. . . . . . it's seems like somebody already has.

                      My bad. Do carry on.
