    Somebody thinks this would work?
    i do. sounds promising

Also if you judge a fight that 90% or above of the media and public think you got wrong than not only do you not get paid for judging that fight but you are banned for life (those two old idiots that scored Pac vs Bradley)
here here, i second the notion. judges should not only be penalized but banned for life if reviews were able to determined the fight was scored unjustly. sadly the commission won't do such thing to one of their own. too bad

Cortez is an imbecile, the reason judging is fkd is because they are corrupt and bought off (not unlike a certain 'unfair but firm' ref) not because they can't see. FFS if one judge can get it right, so can the other two.

i have to agree with you here. cortez didn't even apologize after the ortiz-mayweather for not closely watching the fight. you know what i mean.

That won't just block the fans in the first several rows, it will block people up in the stands. I seriously doubt this will happen, because of that.

Fans pay to see fights not a judge on a 12 foot seat.

Boxing improved once Joe Cortez retired. It is a step in the right direction but it has to be thought out a little bit more

It is obvious that you have never been to a live fight. Besides how you think the boxers get paid in the first place. It is the fans that pay for it. The same thing can be said for the judges that scored the 3rd Marquez/Pac fight.

There's a better solution that would satisfy everybody : give judges monitors so they can still follow the fight even when the referee is blocking their view or when the fighters are on the other side of the ring.

We can improve scoring by getting judges who are not paid off and have no agenda.

If they are going to bother changing anything about how judges watch the fight, this is the only thing I would want. Putting them in thrones overlooking the action won't stop them from being inept idiots.
