American heavyweight contender Mike Mollo (20-3-1, 12 KO) has confirmed that he got an offer to face undefeated Artur Szpilka (12-0, 9 KO) of Poland. The bout between the two is possible at the beginning of next year in Chicago, Illinois. The 32-year old Mollo is out of boxing since his draw with Gary Gomez in August of 2010. Szpilka’s last ring appearance took place in June in Lodz, Poland, when he scored unanimous decision win over an American veteran Jameel McCline.

mollo should give him a decent test. too be honest i have only seen 7 szpilka fights & from what i've seen he gets hit easily. his power is still in question as he has fought limited opposition. i'll watch the McCline fight tonight as i just got a version of it. he got hit too easily vs a 7-3 novice who knocked him down & stunned him a couple times. he ended getting the TKO the next round. the guy was 298lbs & slow as a snail but still managed to land punches. he had his jaw broken vs jameel but i have not yet seen that fight to comment. mollo should be the right kind opponent at this point in his career. he should give him rounds & it wouldn't be an upset if he mollo won because szpilka doesn't have much experience yet.

Mike Mollo is waiting for a fight between chris arreola, the bout was set for june, and was called off, cause an injury to arreola, the fight was suspected to be delayed, till Arreolas return rumer is ! arreola is looking for a fight ? so mike mollos next fight should be against Arrerola so he should hold off against szpikas and persue a fight that was already scheduled
