NO ONE GIVES A ****!
Anyhow, I agree with the general sentiment here, that a fighter's legacy is not ruined by continuing to fight in the tail end of his career. No one speaks badly of Ali, Robinson, Leonard, or Louis, so why speak badly of Roy because he's losing now?
But the point is he didn't. He beat Toney who was the #1 guy in boxing at the time and he sat on his perch for 10 years. Floyd Mayweather has already started a career that will easily surpass Roy's. Mayweather beat Chavez, Corrales, and Castillo (twice), and now he's fighting Judah! I hate Floyd as a person and I love Roy as far as being smart about boxing goes, but Roy doesn't take risks, even compared to guys like Mayweather. Only now at the end of his career is Roy quick to sign contracts and make fights and milk himself for every penny he's worth, but I will NOT consider him one of the greatest ever. I'm sorry, I just won't do it.
