I don't think Floyd is still in his prime sir..

He knows well that Gamboa is smaller and at a disadvantage, so that Floyd might give the fight consideration.

Gamboa is the type of fighter Mayweather cherrypicks. A fighter with some talent and name recognition, but who has not fully developed and would be at a disadvantage against him. Mayweather is not going to fight Pacquiao, Canelo or Martinez. If he fights again, it's going to be someone who is along the lines of Gamboa.
And there is this 20 millions in the line also...that's a lot of money..

I disagree. Gamboa is in his prime but he is not a young 25 year old stud. He is thirty years old, has been inactive for long periods of time. He relies on speed and power to overwhelm his opponents and moving up in weight usually (with the exception of Pacquiao) means you lose a little of both.

The fight if it did happen, would not take place at 145. It will be at 147 where FLoyd fights.

When you're still the consensus p4p best in the sport, when there are very few opponents if any out there who can realistically pose a threat to you, I would say you're still in your prime.
            Just my opinion though.

just an opinion too but isn't it hard to accurately gauge how anybody can be a threat when there is not much to base on being that he has fought so few in the last 5 years? lb for lb yeah but prime maybe not.

lol.. 35 going on 36 years old is far from prime my friend. Not even close. Floyd was at the peak of his prime vs Gatti when he was 28.
