Froch ruined Bute

With Bute looking like that, I doubt there will be a rematch with Froch. Bute is 32 and its possible he is just getting old. I remember S.R. Leonard started looking old in the ring at age 33. It seems now days guys are better than ever before at an older age, but maybe Bute just isn't one of those that will look good into his late 30's. If Froch ruined him this bad, deep down he was never much to begin with.

I don't see why Bute gets so much hate? He doesn't talk a whole lot of smack. He is more than willing to fight the best in the world no questions asked. He seems like a very nice guy to be honest.

I don't think it's a "hate" for Bute being a nice guy. It's more of the reality of him not looking that good until the 12th round against a 12 fight Grachev in a supposed "tune Up" fight.

no I just see Lucian Bute gets alot of crap talked about him. He certainly isn't world class but he isn't that bad. And I never thought Grachev was going to be an easy fight. He doesn't have much wins but he is good. But what I'm saying is that Bute is #1 a really nice guy. #2 willing to fight the best of the best no questions asked #3 he finishes alot of fights. yes he lost to carl froch but dont see what the hate or dislike is for

I just watched that fight and if anyone is betting on Bute to beat Froch please see me for a points bet as Bute looks nervous, he's a worried man in the ring and doesnt look comfortable or at home. Froch will stop him at home i think, and probably earlier and easier then the first time too

A lot of people dislike him because of how hyped he was from his annoying fans (pretty much the same reason all fighters get hate), we kept on hearing for like 2 years straight that Bute was the best SMW in the division, especially after beating Johnson. They claimed he'd destroy Ward, Froch, Kessler etc. I remember them saying during the Froch fight that Boxing monthly even had Bute ranked ahead of Ward.

Even after he got demolished people still said he'd beat Ward and other top SMWs.

Bute was one of the most hyped fighters in the past 10 years, I think they said he was able to sell out stadiums in Canada.
