If he passes by Trout and beats Canelo it puts the nail on the coffin to the HOF.

For beating a c level elite at the weight and an overrated/overhyped Canelo(since you guys have a tendancy to dog on him).

How is that a nail in the coffin? It's funny with you people along with the Floyd fans. A guy turns from shit to gold after being lined up to fight the guy(excluding Margarito).

Yawn... dude your posts are getting dull around here. You only criticize Canelo when he's mixed in a conversation with Cotto, esp ever since the fight being possibly made.Everyone knows your intentions.Sure you've criticized Canelo but at a very MINIMUM and when you feel like it not obsessively like Cotto...carry on so called 'boxing fan' that can't even list his Top Jr MW's,the same 'boxing fan' that preaches how he's so high on Oscar/Tito caliber standards but gives holy praise to Canelo beating Matthew Hatton.haha.

I think a fighter like Cotto should stop fighting as soon as he gets soundly beaten, sort of like how Calderon got beat by Segura the second time, or how Morales got beat by Garcia the second time.

As long as he keeps being competitive, I think he should keep fighting.

Push hard for Pacquiao at 154. I believe that's his best shot at victory against those three.

I want to see how he does against Trout, if he beats him in a very convincing way then Canelo is next if he beats Canelo then I would hate to see him hang up his gloves but I rather see him leave with a W than with an L if he decides to continue then War Cotto!

I would prefer that he retire. He's taken a lot of punishment in his career & wouldn't like to see him take more.

That being said, if he beats them both convincingly, I can see him definitely continuing, and trying get a fight with either 3 of them.

So your basically saying, you won't give him credit no matter who he fights.

Then who are your "top" 154 pound fighters?

I don't really believe in boxers going out on top. It's kind of disrespectful to the sport. You should fight until you "pass the torch" by getting beat by a better man. The only case I could really see for it is if Mayweather or Pacquiao beats the other because there would be nothing left to accomplish. Even THEN I would say the winner should go fight at middleweight. Who cares if you lose then?
