Guess Floyd felt like he was too late in the game to be starting up with amateurs. Dude is already secure making money. What's funny is how 50 was talking mad $h!t to De La Hoya on Twitter about not letting Mayweather work with Golden Boy and look what happens. 50 is a very successful guy but sometimes his approach is way off. He says what he feels which is good to an extent. If you are just entering into a industry where you are unfamiliar with how it goes, it's best to just observe in silence. Also, I think something personal happened between them. Just my opinion but that chick Ms Jackson keeps popping up in my mind as a part of the puzzle.

I don't know but Floyd made 50Mil in one fight. He spends but he can still earn with and off of his name. Floyd makes more money than Pac so why would he need Manny to stop from being broke? Manny is the one asking for $100,000's in advances to Bob Arum. Anyway, lets stick to the topic. Golden Boy and Haymon are established and 50 wasn't. That's the moral of the story.

What I dont understand is how is Floyd suspoded to just drop Haymon? Floyd has said many times that Al is his business manager. Thats not the same as Floyd doing business with GBP on a fight to fight basis. I cant imagine somebody as accomplished as Al Haymon to not have some kind of multi fight contract with Floyd, as his business manager. GBP is not on the same level to Floyd as Al Haymon. Haymon is part of the money team. I can see 50 getting Floyd to cut out GBP but I cant see Floyd cutting out Haymon. Even if he wanted to.

From what I read on boxing-talk a while ago is that PBF and Haymon don't have a contract. What was done was that Haymon did what he said he could do for PBF got paid and hoped that would lead other boxers to go with Haymon which is exactly what has happened. I don't know if its true just what I read.

And I just saw the article on Billy Dib fighting on the Cotto undercard so make that two fighters. But something doesnt smell right. I thought GBP was co-promoting Cotto? And I thought 50 didnt get along with GBP or at least Oscar?
