Why are people hating on Khan? He's just voicing his opinion.

Roach's medical issues are obviously catching up with him which isn't good considering he has to train 3 world class fighters, each who need a lot of attention, and fight multiple times a year.

Khan wasn't getting the attention he needed, and Roach's Parkinson's was beginning to effect the quality of the training he received.

Should Khan be expected to stay with Roach and harm his own career? No. In fact staying with Roach wouldn't have just hurt his own career, the workload wouldn't have been good for Roach's health. I'd go as far to say that Roach shouldn't even be able to train boxers in his condition. He doesn't move that well any more and is unable to give clear, lucid, instructions when in the corner.

I think it's time for Roach to hang them up. He has the prestige, and the money, without his health, that means nothing.

Khan was right to leave Freddie whether you hate him or not.

I wonder if you read the article? The part were AK says Freddie is doing a good Job on the mitts and is still a top trainer translated into 'can't do his Job properly' then either you haven't read the article or you have trouble understanding context of words.

nobody feels he needs to stay with roach, however he should stop referring to roach's inabilities as a trainer because it does to some effect damage his reputation as a trainer

Unless were reading two different things, which part of the article states that Roach can not do his job properly? To make it easier which part of khan's quotes made you think that's what he meant?

Khan gave an honest answer, where's the problem? He's not hating on Roach at all.

People dont seem understand that if your in a conference and someone asks you a question you have to answer it. If you turn around say ***** question then your criticised for being arrogant a pr!ck etc. If you do answer your still criticised.

most boxers would kill to be trained by Roach. Khan thinks he's some big shot just because he's famous and popular in Britain when in reality he was never an elite fighter who warranted special attention.

the split will probably benefit everyone involved maybe even Manny

Khan has good boxing skills, good speed & power & with good conditioning he deos very well, but his chin is NOT good & that's his only problem & NO ONE(no matter who trains with) could fix that!! The 2 times he's gotten KO'd he's changed trainers like if it was their fault his chin couldn't withstand the shot it received..Someone needs to explain to Khan that fighters with "granite" chins are born that way, not made or molded later on.. No matter what exercise or what treatment he does for his chin, it's gonna stay "glass"& will not transform into "granite".. Just ask Terry Norris, Julian Jackson, Tommy Hearns or Frank Bruno.. He just needs to avoid as much as he can to get hit on the chin(with a good solid shot) or he could learn to tuck it in just like Bernard Hopkins does.. Hopkins himself says that's his secret & that a lot of people think his chin is granite & Hopkins himself said it's not, but he just doesn't leave it hanging out to get tagged & always keeps it tucked in & that was one of the first things the oldtimers taut him..
