By that logic wopuld`nt Hopkins PPV or ticket sales be bigger since he also was known to fight once a year at certain times?


Floyd earns more cause he`s more popular and lately have been fighting better competition then Pacquiao cherry picked fights or weight draining fights and on top of that Floyd and his opponents take random testing to show both of them are clean.

Pls - Hopkins dont evenb fight on PPV - his last 4 fights have been on HBO or Showtime. and Pac and Mayweather fight the SAME opponents. and anyone that says cotto was weight rdained dont know **** bc he fuoght 146 the fight before Pac. so he was weightdrained by a full 1 lb. yeah - that 1 lb definitely won Pac the fight.
also - do you honestly think that anyone buys floyds fights bc of styeroid testing? ha! please. sports fans really dont care for the most part what testing is implemented, and it isnt gonna make anyone buy a PPV fight who wouldnt otherwise. wow - u have no clue about boxing or business

And 55-45 is not fair cause Floyd promotes/finances his own fights so he does`nt have to split his earnings with anybody.He just pays Goldenboy a fee to handle the logistics of the promotions before the earnings comes in.Pacquiao on the other hand has a promoter which means Bob Arum not only gets a split from him but Arum makes more then Pacquiao.

Math. LMFAO. I worked with a boxing promoter for yrs - u have no clue what ur talking about. 55-45 means that Floyd and his side gets 55% and Pac and his side, including Arum, gets 45%. Arum wouldnt get any extra. Arums cut comes from Pacs 45%. just like Haymon's % would come from floyds 55%.

Hopkins fought Winky Wright,Kelly Pavlik and Calzage on PPV and his PPV fights with Calzage and Kelly Pavlik did poorly.and Cotto coming in 146 for the Clottey fight don`t mean nothing cause drooping 1 pound can drain you if your body can`t handle it and Cotto probably was gonna come in at 147 if he was`nt forced into a catchweight.

And If Cotto could make 145 easy as you say why did Cotto hesitate for a long time?The only reason Cotto gave in cause the WBO threatened to strip him. And i never said people buy floyd fights because of steroid testing but Floyd shows he`s clean unlike Pacquiao who never take Random test for his fights and took 2 years to finally agree to random testing for Floyd.

Floyd offered him 50/50 back then and a 14 day cutoff on testing since Pacquiao claim testing close to a fight makes him weak.Pac turned it down cause he knew he had something in his system.Then after that Floyd said 50/50 is now off the table and next time we negotiate Pac has to take random testing.

And Floyd earns more then Pacquiao cause of greater PPV numbers and the fact that Floyd fights under his own promotional company which means he does`nt have to split his end with anybody unlike Pacquiao.

What else is new? He's still scared of Pacquiao despite the fact that Pacquiao is no longer the same ped-using monster Floyd thought he was. He just won't fight him. Forget about the fact that he will make the kind of money he will never make with any other opponent. Forget about the fans, the boost it will give to the sport, the chance to be proven the best, you name it. Floyd just won't fight him. He's scared of the Pacman. He doesn't want to end up like Ali.

Not wanting it and wanting something on your terms are not the same things~, both sides want it on their terms but are fully content to tell the other side to get bent if their demands are not met.

On top of that both sides are content with the situation because they both gets tons of extra coverage, and people talking while playing the media game trying to look like they are in the right.

Both sides have probably made more money because of the fight not happening, than they would in the biggest fight in history.

Making a comment is one trolling up and down a Floyd thread is another. When Manny has a thread he doesnt get 10+ pages like Floyd does. The fact is you guys hate Floyd more than you love Manny. Mannys life just isnt that interesting. Does anybody even know Manny has a fight in a few weeks?
