What the? You guys ***** about fighters not fighting the best in their weight class. Khan has fought most of the top fighters at 140, has just come off a KO loss and changed trainer. Surely he's due a warm-up fight?

I don't agree that Khan is just having a warm up fight. This is make or break with a lot of risk. First and formost is the question of Khan's chin, he's been hurt by other light hitters, so in this case, feather fists are still hazardous. Molina is also undefeated with a sure knowledge of who he is, a mover, not a KO artist, he may also be too quick for a rusty khan. This is no sure thing for Khan especially after getting KOd like he did.

GB just putting Khan in there with the only type of fighter he can look good against. A smaller one. The minute Khan steps up and fights someone his own size again he's getting KTFO again...

Khan can't just win this one. He has to win this one really big. Khan needs a photogenic finish without showing any weakness or signs of being hurt. If Khan simply wins, then its another fight or two before he has a 'graduation' fight so he can move to welterweight. If he wins well his next fight can be against a big name junior welterweight and or a contender at welterweight and then officially move up.
To do any of that he needs to cool his head, and not just in the ring, but managing his overall boxing career. Remember, if things worked out the way GBP and Khan wanted it to, Khan's next fight may have been with Mayweather at welterweight. Instead its (almost)November 2012 and Khan is stuck trying to reinforce his position as a top JWW while other fighters who were JWW - Alexander, Bradley, Maidana- have all moved up to welterweight and moved on with their careers. Alexander and Bradley both have belts at WW and Maidana is making his way as a contender at WW. There's no way these factoids are not frustrating Khan whenever he sees their names, and this may cause Khan to push himself into a fight he nor his trainer are ready for.

At least rocked... don't be too harsh on the guy.
