You must be thinking of your hero Floyd ..... lol!

At least against Manny, Marquez was fighting a Manny that was only 143 in his last fight and Marquez had previously already fought at 147 and 140 and many times at 135. Against Floyd, Floyd was 146 while Marquez was just getting his feet wet at 135lbs when he fought at WW for the first time in his career.

the bad thing about being the aggressor is ur punches seems to have less power because of ur opponent stepping back compared to have ur opponent moving towards ur punch as being the aggressor

what i notice though in the third fight was pacs left landing more than b4 but not as hard
it would be nice if he does a little more of it and more clearer for people to see

      [IMG][/IMG]

dont make it too fast for people to miss LOL

seriously he was getting better at dodging and blocking most marquez counter punches
there was a couple landing from marquez but nothing more
he should just improve what he did in the 3rd fight and nothing more

he cant really take anything away from marquez without giving up more himself imo. JMM is the far superior boxer so pacquiao trying to match smarts and skills with him would play right into marquez' hands.

pacquiao needs to make it a brawl, the key is gonna be intelligent aggression. finding that fine line where he is forcing the fight without getting sloppy is the best way to be successful both offensively and defensively.

no matter if he thinks too much about avoding the right hand and gets drawn into a chess match or becomes overly aggressive and wild marquez will pick him apart with the right hand as his weapon of choice.

Just ring the bell! If they need help after 3 distance fights their not as good as people think they are. Get the angles and attack, thats one! The best one is "back that guy up" who ever does that will win.
This fight will show where both of these terrific fighters are on their downside!
You can't stay great forever, both of these men have been outstanding throughout their careers and it just so happens that they match up pretty even! I gave Manny the edge in all their bouts but Marquez gave what he took and fought beautifully! True fight fans have to love men like this, top ten fighters in any era! Ray.

Exactly. This is why the fight is being moved up by Manny so that they can hope the weight will be to high for Marquez. Apparently their not too confident about their plan in forcing Marquez up by them already accusing Marquez of Roiding bwhahahah...Pac team are a bunch of oppurtunistic pu$$ies.

Thats not gonna work. Marquez constantly backs up, pivot and fights long range.

I don't agree, Juan Diaz gave him lots of issues bullying. JMM does not have the legs to constantly get away especially if Manny works his midsection, shooting in landing his flurry then grappling up won't allow JMM to really fire back like he wants and really force JMM to only counter in between which he also does but if Manny knows he is only aiming for that is will be easier to do something about it. Manny holding him would stop a lot of what you were saying anyways.

Plus keep in mind grappling wears guys down, and in a battle of conditioning I think Manny trumps JMM, once again especially if he works JMM's midsection he will have to take some shots to do that but it could really pay off long run.
