What can Pac do to counter JMM's strategy?

a lot of feints and a solid jab to make marquez move his head low. marquez tends to move to his left when he comes in. marquez knows by instinct that pacquiao's jab will always be followed by the straight left. pacquiao should use a lot more upper cuts

Parry and feint more also he needs to stop head hunting marquez he needs to attack the body with straight lefts and slip under the left hook on the way out. That slow the even older now then last time Marquez down some.


Or if he pulls off another hatton he's good.

But Kind of hard to attack the body, Jmm likes to fight long range, jmm steps back, pivots most of the time. Body needs to be attacked with regularity, Pac will get countered. Jmm will pile on points.

Nothing PAC just doest have the skills to out think or out box jmm, after three fight you would think PAC would have at least learned something but he is so dam ****** that he fights the same every damn time. PAC just isn't smart enough to follow a game plan and if he did jmm would just adjust and PAC would be lost in the sauce.pac has been and will always be a pattern fighter beating on punching bags. i agree. a lot of feints, solid jabs, and also instead of straight left behind the solid jab, do a little side step to the right when he hops or steps in so his lead foot is outside and he can do anything from there.

IMO, Manny throws jab jab straight left (or left hook) more often than normal when he fights JMM because....those are the only punches he can throw most of the time. Here's why.

Imagine this. Or try this, do a southpaw stance, then have someone stand 45 degrees to your right in an orthodox stance, then try to throw a right hook, jab, anything with your right. not only is your opponent hard to hit and your power being minimized because of your awkward position you are also very prone and easy target for a counter. It is also easier for him to dodge your limited right hand punches, even worst, he is well hidden from your left hand. That is why Pac and Jmm move clockwise because Manny is constantly trying to land his left, (jmm 30-45 degrees to his right) while jmm is constantly turning and bobbing/slipping to the left and turning manny to the right in the process because he is trying to catch JMM = clockwise

IMO, That is Manny's problem , i think if he can neutralize that jmm goes to sleep.

Pac needs to have a new brain implanted so he can finally have boxing Iq and shrink his head would minimize him getting countered all the time. Smaller target less getting hit just saying

What should Pac do? Be wreckless as fuck. He should be a freaking tornado in there like he did in the first two fights. Marquez is uncomfortable with two things: unpredictability and being the aggressor (i.e. the way Floyd fought him). Trying to box Marquez like he did in the third fight will be his downfall.

I still think he should incorporate holding, that would throw off JMM's rhythm big time and it would force JMM to aim for a very small window when countering which might force him into a mistake.

Pac's only strategy is to hope that Marquez will not be able to handle the weight Pac force the fight to be and that Marquez would finally show his age. Pac doesn't have the ring IQ to make any relevant adjustments. Even Roach said, you won't be seeing anything new you haven't seen.
