Lennox Lewis is the greatest h2h heavyweight of all times.

He was only knocked down when he is unmotivated and under trained.

The best version of Lewis would have walked down all the 'black and white' ATG'S in such a funny comical fashion.

Just imagining some of these laughable heavyweights in the 20-30's against Lewis's right hand makes me LOL.

Rofl can you imagine Dempsey against Lennox? LMFAO. I'm laughing right now, Dempsey will be dead.

          It's also a nationality thing.

Let me explain. The rankings done by a variety of sources in terms of heavyweights usually goes like this.

          1-Muhammad Ali
          2-Joe Louis
          3
          4
          5- 7 Lennox Lewis

There are a bunch of posters from various 'classics' sections of boxing sites that also seem to believe the likes of Jack Johnson could do well against Lewis.

Lennox at 6'5-6'6 is the greatest of the super heavies and would have brutally and harilously destroyed Jack Johnson to the point where Johnson dies in the ring.

Lewis would also have brutally knocked out Joe Louis, yet morons will say **** like 'WELL Louis got that KO POWER and is such a ruthless finisher.'

So it's not just hyping the American White fighters of the very distant past. It's the hyping of Americans period.

All fighters prior to 60's footage era should have asterisks next to their names.

What the **** justification is there in ranking Joe Louis or Rocky Marciano over Lennox? Lennox would have walked down both their combined resume in 3 years time.

The Golota VERSION of Lennox Lewis would have knocked off Rocky Marciano's head into the 10th row.

          ill buy some of that.

rocky marciano is another one that the old school vanguards love to hype up. The fact that he died tragically just made it worse.

He should not have been undefeated. You can thank the mob for that.

You heard it here first, folks.

It's a race thing. People only rank old school fighters highly because they're white.

                I mean, look at this usual list;

                1. Robinson
                2. Langford
                3. Greb
                4. Armstrong
                5. Charles.

As you can see, 100% white fighters.

It's funny because the further someone goes into an ATG list, the less white fighters show up.

Accounts of aficionados and journalists are enough IMO.

Are we sure that King Leonidas and his more or less 300 Spartans with a few thousand reinforcements can hold that long againts invaders numbering in the hundreds of thousands?

do we believe that humans fed other humans to hungry lions?

we didnt see those but we believed.

Written accounts should have a big weight in terms of determining greatness in Boxing IMO.
