Depends on how he loses. If he clearly won but was robbed then he should definitely continue. If Trout knocks him out or win comfortably then YES. I mean Cotto has made enough money to live a nice life after boxing. Better to protect his health if he clearly doesn't have it anymore.

I think Canelo would KO Cotto even if Cotto easily beats Trout. Canelo is a damn good fighter in my opinion and Mexico loves him. I will bet my money on Canelo every time no matter who he fights.

It's funny that he leaves Bob Arum and makes more money than ever. I think if he beats Trout, Alvarez is up next and I can see that fight selling more than any other fights out there besides Floyd vs anyone.

He should probably consider the direction of his career, and possibly retire if he doesn't have it in him to do what it takes to get back on track at the level he wants.

He can probably still make better money than most even off a Trout loss but if he has enough for him he should just enjoy his spoils with good health.
