if he loses to young blood aka trout should he just retire? it shows that hes not good enough to be p4p material and loses all of his big fights. he good at beating shot guys like foreman, mayorga, margarito but doesnt have it in him to beat the big guys.

If he's competitive than no. He should have one last fight where he's fed to Canelito

Canelo's not a brawler he is a power boxer. Rios is a brawler.

I voted he should retire because I hear he has invested most of his earnings and he is smart with his money. He has his own boxing promotion company and it sounds like he is going to be a rich man the rest of his life. Why risk your health if you don't need to? If he would want to keep fighting after a loss to Trout that would be his choice and good luck to him. He is still a good fighter and his fights are exciting to watch. I think he might still be able to fight as a welterweight and be very competitive there. Unlike many boxers Cotto does not seem to blow through his millions with foolish spending. If he has lost his love for fighting then he should retire of course. He seems like he still loves to compete now.

He should probably consider the direction of his career, and possibly retire if he doesn't have it in him to do what it takes to get back on track at the level he wants.

He can probably still make better money than most even off a Trout loss but if he has enough for him he should just enjoy his spoils with good health.
