I think Emmanuel's sister is doing the right thing. She said that his resturant had been broken in to and cuts of beef and vegetables were stolen, so boxing apparatus is definitely viable for theft.

I don't know if she's going to want to see her brother's hardwork in the hands of another man and this might be the end of Kronk. I really hope that those who were involved with the gym step in to do whatever they can to keep it alive.

I could understand taking memorabilia down(signed gloves, wardrobe if he had any at the gym & pictures, news paper clippings ect) but the heavy bags, speed bags & THE RING!! ¿WHO THE HELL IS GONNA WALK OUT OF THE GYM WITH AN ENTIRE RING!? & Closing down what took years for Steward to build up & that was & is HIS trade mark, Emanuel "Manny" Steward is "Kronk Gym"!! & she's shutting the doors & leaving people LITERALLY out in the cold & that's something Emanuel himself would have NEVER done!!Manny must be turning in his casket!!

thats bull****! how is tearing something down which manny spent most of his life building from the ground up "preserving his legacy"? the real way to preserve it is to keep developing world champions under the kronk banner.

and who the **** is gonna steal the kronk sign or a boxing ring anyways? only way ppl would ravage the gym to that point is if they closed it, but theres plenty of ppl steward worked with who could have ran the gym if she didnt choose to shut it down.

now all those fighters will have to go elsewhere. its not the pros im worried about though, sure it will be bad for boxing in detroit when some of that talent leave the city but the real issue is the kids. they might not have the option to box in another part of town much less another city.

Pass it on to Johnathan Banks and let him hold it down. Take all the keepsakes and memorabilia out, put some posters up of Manny, Hitman, Lewis, etc and re-open the doors. Preserve the legacy by continuing Manny's work, god damn it.

Someone needs to step up and put up some cash. Man I wish Mayweather would. That would be a great thing for Michigan if he did that. He hasnt brought a fight here so put up some bread and get the Kronk in a better part of Michigan. If not Floyd somebody, anybody.

yeah that would be good he is from Michigan. It would cost him chump change to pay the rent a while until someone can take over. There has to be other trainers down there besides steward,

If I had the ability to I would help save the gym. Hopefully they can raise some money to keep it open or even move it to a better location.
