    exactly!

I'm not usually a fan of puerto rican boxers but I respect these young prospects like Dulorme and Del Valle because they have the courage to take the step, even if they don't win

Dulorme would have looked like an ATG if he fought Carlos Baldomir instead of Abregu. maybe they should have got Shane Mosley out of retirement to take another beating.

hey maybe they would have asked Miguel Vazquez to come up from 135 to fight Dulorme.

and if cotto's brother was a natural jr middleweight, I'm sure the **** would have hit the fan for nelo back then too.

I'd rather see a young fighter lose then be protected.
            A tough puncher?Lmao

I have to agree, but it also goes back to the hype and build up. He wins big early against so so competition and the first hint of real talent gets everybody excited. They feel he doesn't need protection anymore, but instead of matching him with another prospect, they put him in with Herman Munster. That's like saying, he looked good jumping off of the outhouse roof, he can jump off of the empire state next.

When you talk about Chavez jr. do realize that you are talking about the best chin in boxing. Chavez jr made me a fan on that night against sergio, chavez showed he has it in him, BIG COJONES like his daddy. Oh well he lost, but I bet he knocks martinez out in a rematch if ever martinez takes it.

yeah? you probably only seen his fight against Bradley but he was injured, which is why he didn't fight for over a year after that

but in his fights prior to that they were slugfests
