My point is that takin a saty busy fight with Maddalone is not a reason to say a fioghter is not top 10 worthy. u tell me 10-11 fighters after the Klitchkos who deserve to be ranked ahead of fury
You say many of the top fighters and then go on to list Fury, Boytsov, Adamek & Mormeck.

Arreola, Chambers, Mitchell, to name a few, deserve a higher ranking than Fury. Maddalone was no stay busy fight, look at who he's fought this year...

Every world organization will have different rankings due to the regional titles. That is how boxing rankings work now & in the past. Nothing has changed. Fury holds a regional belt with the IBF so his ranking is top 10 & grano has the NABF title which gives him top 10 also. Grano is not in any of the other top 10 because he is not a legit contender. He just holds an important IBF title which entitles him a top 5 ranking. Only a north American based fighter can get a shot. More HW in NA will be targeting grano because of his title. It's all about regional belts.

Can't afford that but when my next interest comes in on Monday I'll give you 200 mil. Stick it in the bank and get the interest. By the time this fight gets confirmed you'll have loads.

Important belts? If that was not so sad I believe that it would be rather funny. The reality is that some of the belts certainly do have merit and even history on their side. But as we all know most of belts amount to one thing and one thing only. And that would be more sanctioning fees for the alphabet boys. So, in my opinion most of them amount to little more then a heap of stinking garbage.

it's just an important belt for a good ranking in the IBF. shane cameron has 2 WBO regional belts giving hin top 5, welliver held several in both the WBO & WBC which did him favors in the rankings but he's lost 2 in a row & is fallen back to JM status. when i say important i'm just talking about for rankings within the governing body at world level...i'm sure you understood. guys like welliver, grano & cameron are not top 10 boxers but their regional belts help them get a good spot in the title picture...

                  Arreola fought once this year.

                  Fury fought twice

Both Furys opponents are ranked marginally higher than Arreolas one opponent

So why should Arreola be ranked higher?

For beating Travis Walker and Jameel Mcline about 5 years ago?

he had 7 fights the previous year. activity helps rankings as do regional belts. look at my golota collection & his fight with grant. merchant discribes it perfectly. arreola rebuilt himself fighting JM to stay active & build back his confidence. i just don't undertsand why so many have troubles undertsanding how rankings work. when you lose 2 big fights you DO NOT just get back in the ring with world class opponents. you rebuild youself by taking on less risky opponents to build momentum for your next run. you pick a belt you want & you target regional belt holders to earn rankings. Don king is the master of this. he got ray austin, bruce seldon, andrew golota & most currently bermane stiverne title fights or in a position to fight in an eliminator. nothing has changed over time. tony grano is #4 in WBC not for quality of opposition but for winning the NABF title after Banks vacated. banks didn't want to fight his mandatory(grano) so he vacated to get the HBO payday vs Mitchell. again don king working his magic to get one of his HWs in the title picture. he promotes grano.
