so dude, what version of james toney should roy jones have fought in your opinion, because in mine, roy jones was fighting james toney at the perfect time in his career...the undefeated, undisputed, p4p #1 james toney...imo, no other version of james toney matters...like mr reed pointed out, he had just battered iran barkley into submission, ko'd littles in 4, and ko'd prince charles williams in 12...and for the record, james toney ALWAYS struggled with weight for 44 fights prior...
What Middleweight in history beats a prime Roy jones Jr?

TOP dog at 168. like who exactly? Toney defeated close to prime Mccallum.i think you should quit while you're ahead bro...nobody is giving james toney a pass on the roy jones fight...and don't get me wrong james toney was not fighting any soft touches when he was on top, unlike some fighters who relax once they get on top, but jones just outboxed, and outsmarted james masterfully that night...thats it, and thats all..., and roy jones, was moving up to 168, and taking on the top dog, ya gotta give him all the credit in the world for thatComment

dude do your homework man...james toney was the top dog in boxing in 1994 @ 168 lbs and roy jones took it all...
its real simple man...jones just had james toney's number....didn't matter who toney had just beat prior...could've been after the barkley or the nunn fight, or the mcallum fight...same result...james always had to come down 30 or 40 lbs prior to a fight...Comment
