          Why?

This is yet another proof that Ward will be making the jump to Light Heavy earlier that people anticipated. There's nothing for him at 168.

If you didn't watch the Lamps show on HBO when Ward got interviewed, he stated that he had one more fight in him at 168 before jumping...I just never thought it would have been with Pavlik; what a mismatch.

This is going to look like the hopkins/pavlik fight but even worse because this time pavlik is fighting a fighter in his prime. Kelly and his team should NOT take this fight, would rather see him fight JCC Jr on cinco de mayo in dallas.

I'll bet money issues will stall this fight. I remember that stunt Pavlik did last year bt waiting until the last minute by pulling out of a fight.

Welp looks like this comeback train will be derailed sooner than I expected. I also expected it to get derailed by someone else (Rodriguez or Chavez), not Ward.

                  Is Pavlik high on something?

I was hopeful in Pavlik's return, but the truth is he didn't look good enough in his last couple of fights to step in there with the best. He's just not the same guy he was before the B-hop fight. Wish him the best though.

He's most likely going to take another beating and this time by a young, strong, hungry fighter. That could very well end what's left of Pavlik's career. Obviously his promoter is not serious about rebuilding Pavlik's career at 168 and simply wants to cash him out before he goes on another drinking binge.
