The Nottingham fighter is expected to come through the clash in his home town with relative ease before moving on to a rematch with Lucien Bute early next year.

Mack, who usually operates at light-heavyweight, has been stopped by both Glen Johnson and Tavoris Cloud in recent years and will be a big outsider at the Capital FM Arena.

MR UNCLEVER, when will you cease to produce misleading headlines... You know damn well that Froch is not concerned about Mack that even apart from being relatively much better, he expects to win. All he said was that he's not "looking past" Mack which is what 1000, out of 1000 boxers would say.

Get it straight for heaven's sake.

He's giving Mack every benefit of the doubt because he's trying to take the fight seriously. We already saw how Dawson looked against Ward and it was bad, no intensity and no energy.

Mack is a huge underdog, but I hope he puts on a good show for all the people watching. Carl deserves an easy fight for once, then onto bigger and better things.

the johnson fight was an easy fight and this is another easy fight

i don't think carl has many concerns if hes honest. yusuf will likely be weight drained in trying to make a weight he hasn't made in years and his punch resistance is likely to suffer.

carl for the knockout in less than 5 rounds.

I don't know about that, Johnson hit him with some huge shots and perforated Froch's ear-drum. I felt the Abraham fight was easier for Froch than the Johnson fight.
