Comments Thread For: Froch Has "Concerns" Mack Will Raise His Game at 168

Carl Froch (29-2, 21KOs) insists he will not be looking past Yusaf Mack (31-4-2, 17KOs) when he defends his IBF super-middleweight title against the American on November 17.

The Nottingham fighter is expected to come through the clash in his home town with relative ease before moving on to a rematch with Lucien Bute early next year.

Mack, who usually operates at light-heavyweight, has been stopped by both Glen Johnson and Tavoris Cloud in recent years and will be a big outsider at the Capital FM Arena.

While every professional fighter should be ready for every fighter he face, Cmon Carl quit making this fight out to be something it isn't. With the schedule you have kept in the last 3+ years, you deserve an easy night in front of the home folks. This is it. Enjoy

Bute was that easy night - Mack will pose a good challenge. But Froch needs to test that chin early on.

In spite of all that's said to promote the fight.

I have "concerns" that Froch starches him in two.

Froch wins a close decision & loads of people on here will scream robbery which many shallow minded people do when an underdog performs better than expected.

Why would a fighter have CONCERNS that another fighter might be at his best?????? WTF????? They'll do anything to sell a mismatch.

Exactly this, but also could be what taansend says.
