A great fight to be sure. I give a slight edge to Donaire because he has fought the better opposition as a pro. I also think Moreno decisions both of them

Donaire vs Rigo can be a huge fight down the line, and all Rigo has to do is at least come close to getting someone like Darchinyan or Montiel on his resume... He has no one on his resume... Becuz Donaire has those 2 names on his resume (and not just wins, but devastating KO wins) he has the right to fight Vazquez Jr and Mathebula while he waits for another big opponent

The money thing is not the main reason... The main reason is Rigo hasn't fought anyone... And literally one good win against a solid name opponent, and BOOM!!! There will be buzz, there will be incentive... Hell, why doesn't he fight Vazquez Jr or Mathebula??

Why is it so much to ask that Rigo fight someone first?? Why is that such a big deal??

rigo will just bore the **** out of donaire with his very tentative style. that fight is not happening because arum doesn't think he will make money out of it and hbo will not put up enough money to satisfy the fighters' demands.

hbo put up 850K for donaire-nishioka...750K for donaire and nishioka got 100K + the japan rights. there's nothing like that for rigo because cuba will not buy that fight...their government will block it. hbo will not put up more money for that fight so it's not happening for now.

If I was Bob Arum I would make him fight Agbeko then feed him to the winner of Moreno-Mares. If he can get through that then he will have earned a shot at Nonito.
he beat abner mares in Amatuers.

Lol, its seems like everytime I bring this up in a "Donaire is scared of Rigo" thread, no one has any response to it
