First of all, Donaire has never really fought elite top contenders with the exception of Vic and Montiel. He will never be a PPV star. IMO he and his team have chosen his opponents very carefully. Second Rigondeux is not by any means an elite fighter. I've never saw him fight before and against Marroquin, he looked like ****. Borring fighter if I ever saw one.

What am saying is that he is afraid of losing his status and the money that come with it, which in his case is not Pacquio, Cotto or Floyd money by any means, is just that Rigondeaux is the one that could make all his dreams and plans go to hell, if not why he is coming with so many excuses? Rigondeaux has a belt and share the same promoter, if he were that easy beleive me he would had already fought him, but someone from his camp doesn't want Rigondeaux as an opponent, he went after a novice in Vazquez then an unknown fighter in Mathebula and his third one against an old Champion that was semi-retired, inactive and just fought for the paycheck, are you going to tell me that any of those fighter is a better feather to have than Rigondeaux?

If you call me bias because I want to c the fighters I like fighting the best fighters then I guess I'm and yes he will make a ton of money if they bring the fight to Miami, we will fill the Arena just like we did back in 1982 for Arguello and 2004 or 05 for Casamayor and a couple months ago for the unknow Cubans, Gonzalez, socarras, Barthelemy etc..

I think the fight will happen sometime next year as long as both guys keep on winning. I dont think it's debatable that Arce is more well known and sells more tickets than Rigo. Like I said before I prefer Rigo fight over Arce but I can understand why Arce is next.

Agreed that Arce is more well known, but how much money are they going to make in Mexico? They pay with pesos not dollars, they doing it to showcase Donaire and are hoping he can get some of those fans to like him and the rest to hate him, so next time they could tune in for hate/love, I know it takes less money to do a card in Mexico than in the USA, but they will make a lot less, the profit will come from the network, still I don't like the fight because I know the outcome, there's no suspense we know 100% sure who will win, now Adbeko-Rigondeaux we think the Cuban should win, but there is an unknow factor, Rigondeaux experience and confidence, that's why I think Donaire is a little dumb because now is the best time to fight GR.
