I don't know about ducking but the excuses are very lame, Donaire has a better resume but if we just look a the first eleven fights for both fighters it is a no contest, Rigondeuax by a mile, I think too that Rigondeuax is the better boxer but just because he is perceived as the better boxer it doesn't mean he will win the fight, once they are both inside the ring all bets are off, ducking maybe not be, but he is sure to have a ton of excuses...

Yeah but u can't just compare the 1st eleven fights without putting it into context. After watching Rigo fight we can see he has questions around his chin and that he usually makes for not very exciting fights. This fight needs to be built up more imo and Rigo needs to beat a Agbeko type of challenge for him to get the hype he's been getting.

If Mayweather fights Canelo in May and 2 months later takes on Hatton for double the money he would get for Martinez is he ducking Sergio?

his hands are conceivably getting broken for every fight that he has yet he still is contemplating for another go this year. given that i am not up for this (mis)match, still i gota give it to donaire for activity alone. id rather that he go taking out the fringe contenders and pretenders alike at sbw so maybe next year we'll have a clearer view of the who's who. the real ones at that then hopefully he goes and starts to face them for a change.

I agreed about him fighting someone like adbeko buy not about the build up, Donaire is not a household name and probably will never be, he move up to 122 and the first thing he say was that he want it to collect all the Belts, guess what? Rigondeaux have one of them, Rigondeaux may have a questionable chin or not, we don't know about that because he was drop by a jab coming in, Casamayor dropped Guerrero the same way and he doesn't have a questionable chin, Marroquin caught him once and he was stunned, but his reaction told me that he is getting confident, and he have 0 desire to fight that night, and you can say that he was fighting a good puncher not a feather fisted or old man, who is going to win? I don't know, but we Cubans like to c our fighters fight the best, that's why I don't understand when fans became match makers and second their fighters escuses for not to face another boxer, win or lose we want Rigondeaux, Lara, Gamboa, Salinas, Gonzalez, Perez, Collado, Garcia, Santana, Franco, Johnson, Socarras, Barthelemy and the ones I'm forgetting now, to face the best available fighters...
PS. What context? Nonitos fans don't give any credit for his amateur accomplisments, so they can't have it both ways, as a matter of fact GR has accomplished more in 8 fights that ND in 18.

              Marroquin hurt him twice.

I would like to see Rigo get a good win over someone like Agbeko to build it up. I'm not talking about waiting just for the sake of building anticipation. From what I've seen his chin wont hold up to Donaire but that's just my opinion. Maybe I haven't been clear but I'd rather see Rigo Donaire instead of Mismatche like Donaire Arce but I'm not gonna say it's a duck or that Donaire is a coward when from what I see it's business.

First Nonito ain't Floyd and second he will make more money with GR than with Arce, that you can be sure of it, that high risk low reward crap is BS, the draw will get pay no matter what the other fighter is the one that will get a lot less.

If you avoid someone because he can kick your a$$ and make you fall from the pedestal, yes you are ducking and afraid that you can lose your position and that's what he is showing, I'm not saying he is a coward but he is afraid of something and I repeat again, he is making a big mistake by not fighting him now.

No he didn't, the second time he was off balance we all saw that.
