So ummm..........Floyd, where you at?

Exactly! Floyd didn't put any wear on his body before the fight, hence optimal condition. Looking the best he's ever looked, etc. Where as JMM looked like a blown up LW fighting a WW, that was completely healthy, and much bigger. How was weight an issue, when Floyd didnt even use his size to over power Juan? Make weight an issue when/if Floyd pushes him around. And your saying Juan was slow! Man Thats not the Problem, Floyd was FAST AF!!!!! Did you see the fight? Man that was arguably the BEST Floyd we had seen in YEARS. Pac is fighting an older, worse version than the Juan that Floyd fought!
It's hard enough fighting a guy that's slick, and can box. It's even harder when the guy your fighting didn't even have to make weight, and your just moving up 2 weight divisions. Not to mention, at that point in his career, he wasn't exactly the JMM that fought previously fought Pacquiao.Last edited by timboslice708; 10-24-2012, 02:26 PM.Comment

LOL misplaced or not IDGAS mate.Actually i'm almost always on during the day. Very rarely on nights and weekends.
Its unfortunate that you have gone to the far right fringe of manny's fanbase like some of the other posters. I always respected you as a poster. But I see that respect is misplaced.
Holla at your boy when you are back to being a boxing fan.
Unless you drop the sweeping generalization that all manny fans are equal then you might just become a boy again.Comment

LOL, Dont worry Im not butthurt! Everyone he fought was back to back, no tune ups, but LONG lay offs in between each fight? Dominating these guys? Mosley, Ortiz(coming off the Berto beatdown which placed himself at #2 behind Pac) Juan, who gave Pac fits? Only one Im kind of iffy about was Cotto because Floyd was expected to dominate. I know Cotto was comfortable and everything, but Floyd was just not sharp and couldnt see those slow punches coming. I wasnt too thrilled with his performance!Comment

No wear and tare on his body? Despite coming off an amazing TWO year layoff? THATS why Im so impressed, because he was on a layoff, and perfored AMAZINGLY, So yea I agree that was something to be mentioned as far as the lay off! I rest my case man! Accept the fact that you was wrong, and move along.Exactly! Floyd didn't put any wear on his body before the fight, hence optimal condition. Yeah, a 2 year layoff where he was training the whole time. Rest what case? You'd defend Floyd for fighting Danny Garcia at 154.
I like how you call it "AMAZING", when the guy was simply waiting for the other WW's to wipe themselves out.Comment

You keep emphasizing "LONG LAYOFFS" as if that's a good thing. And also as if that's a disadvantage for him. Even though he was staying in shape during that whole period.LOL, Dont worry Im not butthurt! Everyone he fought was back to back, no tune ups, but LONG lay offs in between each fight? Training on a layoff, is NOT the same as being active and you know that. And I dont even think he was training the entire time. He probably threw boxing in the trash after that Hatton fight, and got back into it once he saw Pac getting bigger. Pac probably made him start back training 1 yr before he came back. As far as Danny Garcia. Look man I been arguing with Sugar Sean for a while, I HATE the idea of Floyd fighting Danny or any of these frail, skinny guys they trynna match him up with. Canelo is too dangerous and doesn deserve it. Floyd just needs to fight Pac or Martinez so he can lose to a real opponent. I would hate for him to lose to Canelo.Comment

I guess your the only one in the world, who doesnt find that amazing that he goes on layoffs and DOMINATES these guys. No close fights, DOMINATION!!!! Me and everyone else are amazed by it, your not because you just dont like the guy and I totally understand it, and WONT judge you for it. To each is own.Comment
