Rios vs Garcia could be this decade's Castillo vs Corrales

Rios would force an inside fight much like Castillo did with Corrales. Garcia's "super-****** hooks" would be dangerous thoughout the fight (I don't even think the kid knows how much power he's got in that hook). But Rios' work on the inside (uppercuts and body punches) would likely break Danny down late in the fight. Rios seems to be amazingly tough in his ability to take and return hard punches. The haters will bring up Abril, but Brandon was a zombie in that fight; he's healthy and a monster at 140.

If they both stay undefeated and continue to win high profile fights/main eventers at 140, hopefully Bob and Oscar would come to terms and give us a potential "modern day boxing classic". When was the last time Bob(oso) and Oscar came together for a fight? Maidana vs Soto Karass?

Looks like Danny will run through Judah next

I hope Bob doesn't try to push Rios into 147 with a fight against the Pac-JMM winner. Let him make a name for himself at 140 first. Lamont Peterson would be a good next fight for him.

P.S. Paulie Malinaggi is perhaps the worst Welterweight "champion" of all time.

          neither guy is that good
they're both tough and exciting, but not much else
Chico-Castillo was a brawl between guys who also had skills
Rios-Garcia would be exciting, but not high class
no way they match the best fight ever

Rios stops him in 6 rounds. I don't think Garcia has the movement or enough defensive skill to frustrate Rios. The fight will be a brawl which is Rios' game.

Garcia isn't very impressive to me and is quite overrated. Rios isn't a shot zombie like Morales and his chin is on the opposite side of the spectrum compared to Khan's.

The same left hook that dropped Khan and Morales will do nothing but make Rios smile.

On a side note, I hope Angel Garcia ****s his pants after Rios destroys his son.

Both are young and they do have skills. You're right, they're currently not at the level of Castillo or Corrales when they fought each other. Give 'em a couple of years and if they keep running through the top guys in their weight class, they'll be ready to put on a great fight together, if the promoters will let it happen.

a judah fight would be a waste of time and just the kinda fight that could sour a young fighter into thinking he's better then he is. he can't can go from an ancient morales to an ancient judah. that's not good for his future outlook.
