If I could punch like that I'd be throwing 100 punches per round. Arms, body, shoulders.. I don't care what I'd hit as long as my chin held up. What a waste of power. Seriously

Not surprised. His fight with Mike Jones was just pitiful (until the KO). I would've rather watched grass grow. You would think with that someone with such 1 punch KO power like Bailey would make for an exciting fight.

His fight with Mike Jones was boring too, and his activity was low there too.

That fight went about the way it was expected to go. We've seen Bailey's last fight and it wasn't inspiring until the knockdown and the knockout. If Alexander was able to avoid his chin getting cracked, he would be able to outbox or outpoint Bailey. Brooklyn and NYC is infamous for having rough crowds. We let Devon Alexander have it out there. I didn't even see the TV playback but I was amongst the whole crowd of folks who boo'd him out of the building. I know you guys heard it on TV. I'm going to watch the playback in a while. I got it on DVR.

I don't think his punches will be as powerful if he threw 100 punches per round. I think the whole point of his power is how he throws it, he loads up one by one and has to set his feet and all that.

The marketability of both fighters took a hit, but at least for Devon he still has a name at welterweight and a title.

There's no way HBO or Showtime is going to let Bailey back on a televised card.
