    • Garcia's biggest flaw is he doesn't move his head a lot and keep his gloes up high consistantly. That could hurt him against brutal punchers like Mathysee and Rios. Mathysee is accurate and powerful and Rios is a bludgioning type fighter. Then there is Joan Guzman, Jessie Vargus and maybe Karim Mayfield. Mike Alvarado, Zab Judah, Vernon Paris, Olusegun. I see the title changing hands a few times in the next 2-3 year. A lot of talent.

      • Someone mentioned Rios is a counterpunchers dream. Actually, he is almost everyone's nightmare. His power increases, as well as his stamina over the course of a fight, unlike many fighters and pressure breaks pipes, he is the ultimate pressure fighter and his chin is concrete. Garcia has a lot of challenges in front of him. He will win some and lose some.

If people think Rios is going to walk down and beat Garcia, that's their opinions but in my opinion it's nonsense.
You ranted about Rios being overrated, and now are saying he just fought someone that played into his strengths. Two posts earlier, you said Garcia is IYO the best fighter in the division, obviously basing it off Khan and Morales, two fighters who couldn't play into Garcia's strengths more if they had tried.

I assume you now think Garcia has great power too.

          • That was a sad sight. I can't blame fighters for wanting that last great win but us fans have to watch them get brutally knocked out by fighters they would have never lost to in their prime. Morales needs to do the right thing and hang them up for good.

PS : What's up with Garcia's left hooks? They always make his opponent turn the other way lol.

            • I am Glad Garcia is getting his props now he knockout Morales the f**k out I mean cold. Morales needs to hang um up for good now. I guess we won't see Marquez vs Morales any time soon or ever. Garcia times that left hook perfect on his opponents and its good night. He would get my vote for fighter of the year so far.

I didn't say Rios was overrated I just said that he has had one good win over Alvarado but Alvarado fought Rios fight and made it action packed but when Rios fought Abril. The total opposite happened. Khan no matter how you look at him, was one of the top guys at 140 and Morales was just a rematch clause being exercised but dude put both young and old out in the 4th. Not saying he has great power but now you know it wasn't a fluke. I think Garcia is one of the best because of his temperament and timing. He doesn't lose his cool and he is effective under pressure. Funny thing is that, I read so many posts on here on how people hop on and off band wagon's but never have a legitimate reason why they favor a particular boxer other than his power or a fight that fighter recently had that went over good. If the next fight is not exactly like the first then he sucks. I prefer to look at the skill set of the fighter rather than the fighter having a good night or a big punch. People on here were ranting and raving about Juan Ma Lopez and Pirog and look what happened to them guys when they fought someone with skill. Lopez got waxed twice and Pirog went the distance with light hitting Ishida but Pirog was the one who Sergio Martinez was ducking? Garcia in my opinion is a good fighter who will just get better.

Also you have to consider that Khan hasn't been KO'd like that since Brandon Prescott and Khan took power shots from Maidana and kept on his feet. Garcia blasting him into next week. Will see how good his power really is when he fights an opponent with a durable chin but so far his left hook looks to be a fighters Kryptonite.

In the other hand Rios Chin has been really tested and would walk thru Garcia punches and smile! Rios would be all up on him in the inside not letting Danny get his looping punches off and eventually stopping him but too bad we will never see it happen due to TR-GB Feud.
That's your opinion but all Garcia would have to do is box Rios and keep him at a comfortable distance and I'm willing to bet that Rios is not going to eat more than two of them left hooks without going down. IF the fight ever happens by any miracle then we can bet 2BIL.

I said it. Garcia has perfect timing and Rios rushing in will get clocked. Good fight to make but I lean towards Garcia because of his smarts and timing with the left hook.
