Sure Donaire....now go back to fighting guys who nobody knows-for those diamond belts! The only way Nonito fights anyone is if they are midgets or sucky fighters....seems like forever since he fought a top opponent who was evenly matched...typical of Top Rank fighters.

They should make it happen & if the fight against Mares or Moreno doesn't happen it's because of Arum, cause De La Hoya ain't a greedy bastard like Arum & won't hesitate to throw his fighters against any other fighter no matter who promotes them!!

If u have NO IDEA who Montiel, Nishioka, Sydorenko, Narvaéz, Vazquez Jr or Mathebula were or are, then u don't know absolutly NOTHING about boxing!!All of these were either World Champions or ex world Champions when they faced Donaire & by all means NONE of these guys are what u refer to as "sucky" fighters(especially 5 time, 3 division world Champion Montiel, who is definitely an Hall Of Fame Candidate) & none of them are neither midgets, especially Mathebula who's height is 5′ 11″(180cm) which is way taller than Donaire..

TR/GBP work with everyone else, but not with each other. The only reason why Lara/Vanes is happening is because GBP is not involved.

fights happen when the promoters think it will make money. and for it to make money, it has to appeal to casual fans especially when the fighters involved are already commanding large sums of money. clamor from hardcore fans and forum posters is not enough. fighters have demands and no fighter will say no to a fight if they're satisfied with the offer. but more than that, the promoter should also be satisfied business-wise. that is why top rank and gpb don't want to co-promote because they will also have to share the profits. from a business standpoint, why share when you can have it all?

They should do Donaire vs. Arce with Rigo vs. Darchinyan as the co-main event.

Then set up Donaire Rigo in Summer 2013.


The fight could use a little building up. I think its too easy to make for it not to happen. Its an in-house fight. That's what Arum is known to do.

I have no reason to believe Donaire will fight a GBP fighter so keep dreaming about that.

I see what u mean, but it has to do more with Arum than DLH cause "Golden Boy" was willing to throw Mosley & Marquéz against Pacquiao but Arum didn't want to hear it as long as they were with "GB" & as soon as they stepped out of "GB" the fights were a done deal & Arum himself said that 1 of the obstacles(including the testing & the $$$)from making the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight was that Mayweather was also working with "GB" & now "GB" threw a challenge at "TR" by saying they are willing to put Matthysse against Ríos & Arum hasn't said a thing about it... & U'r right, for this fight "GB" is not involved, but if Lara wins, he's next inline for a world title & will be still promoted by "GB"... & another thing is that for this fight Arum didn't have much of a choice for Vanes sake, cause if they would have refused the fight with Lara then Vanes would have been put in the back of the line again..
