exactly and after the arce fight it will be the same thing

what #1 ranked fighter has he fought that fans wanted him to fight?the fights people want to see he doesn't have, when donaire was at 118 people would liked to see donaire fight agbeko, mares and perez yet he didn't fight any of them and when he fought vic he moved down in weight and the one thing alot of people have had a problem with is the fact that donaire looks so much bigger than his opponents before he was at 122 so don't be so sure that donaire will fight salido/garcia.mikey is roberts brother it's kinda crazy that you actually thought that was his son

You're asking two different questions. Does the Nishi fight hold any personal value? Nope, but he did beat the top dog, however bad Nishi's performance was. Montiel was the supposed #1 at 118, Nishioka was the supposed #1 at 122. He allowed Mares/Agbeko/Perez to weed themselves out until there was only one left. Should he have fought Mares/Moreno at 118? Yes. However, the opportunity has presented itself again, but I doubt he'll take advantage of it. Mares/Moreno/Rigo will be forced to move up if they wanna fight him, and Rigo/Mares don't have the size for 126.

IDK why all this time I thought Mikey was Robert's son, finally I've been corrected lol

some of you feel the need to make all kinds of excuses for donaire but if he wants to shut people up than shut them up. donaire is not going to stop being critcized unless he fights who the fans want him to fight. montiel was the supposed #1 but no one was askin for that fight, nishioka was the supposed #1 but no one asked for it.if donaire doesn't care and only wants to fight who he feels is the best than fine but donaire and his fans need to stop getting upset when he gets critcized for not fighting who most of the fans want to see him fight

He fought Montiel, the #1, he tried to fight Moreno, the only guy not tied up in the tournament happening at 118, but Moreno declined, and by the time that was over he moved up. Now he's in position to fight the winner of that tournament anyway, or Moreno.

Donaire gets no respect. If people are going to criticize Donaire's competition, they better criticize damn near everyone in the sport along with him.

Darchiniyan and Montiel are the best on his resume-the rest mean **** all to boxing...Donaire looked like a ****ing giant next to Montiel. Mathebula is slow and dull...sure he is tall, but what good is he???!!! Narvaez-wow...I am not sure how you can heap praise on these opponents...I guess mediocrity appeases you,but not me...he is just another Top Rank donkey who will get soft touches and make excuses-at best he will have 1 mediocre fight for every 15 dull opponents.

lol-sad,but true....This Arce fight is a ****ing joke.Just look at Arce's last fight!!! It just so happens that the decent opposition that Donaire is NOT fighting happen to be Rigondeaux, Mares, and Moreno...would Donaire beat them-maybe,but we want to see him DO this!

Only way he fights the Mares/Moreno winner is if Mares wins and leaves GBP after his contract expires.
