I'd have to go with Emanuel Augustus vs Courtney Butron.
One judge had it 99-90 for Burton, and Augustus had clearly won about 9 rounds to 1. An idiot couldn't have scored that fight for Burton, yet two of the judges gave it to him, one as a shut out.
It was in Michigan, and on Friday night fights Teddy Atlas went balastic. He was cussing out people from the Michigan state Athletic commission, and the fights met with protest and disgust at the venue and across the boxing world.
I've never seen another fighter almost totally shut out his opponent only to see a shut out score favoring the opponent.
It was unbelieveable, and still makes me sick to think about it.Comment

If a referees decision counts as a decision, I would have to say when the fight was stopped between Meldrick Taylor & Chavez. Just a few more seconds...That hurt, It still hurts till this day. Where would Taylor's career have gone???? Would chavez have continued his feirceness? Poor taylor was ruined after that. Did he take too many punches?Comment

Still I agree with you, it should have been even.
But it would be hard to score it even when it's a 6 man tournament, you either win or lose.Last edited by IIocano; 10-18-2009, 12:27 AM.Comment
