There's no way you can make a blanket statement like that about a fight that close. A lot of people had it scored for Hopkins. Kellerman and Jones on the very brodcast.

You can disagree, but don't tell me there no way you could have scored it for Hopkins. A lot of people did.

I honestly don't see how anyone other than a Hopkins nuthugger could have scored it for B-Hop. The first 6 rounds were all most likely Taylor's, and even if you scored 4 out of 6 of them for Taylor (which is REACHING), then he's still got 6 rounds of which he only needs three. Everybody on God's green earth gave Taylor round 11, so are you telling me even with the 2 out of the first 6 you could have given Hopkins, he managed to win the other 5 (other than 11) that he needed for the win? HAHAHAHA

P.S. It's a known fact that Roy and Kellerman are huge Hopkins fans.

In regards to the question this thread asks,

I'd have to go with Emanuel Augustus vs Courtney Butron.

One judge had it 99-90 for Burton, and Augustus had clearly won about 9 rounds to 1. An idiot couldn't have scored that fight for Burton, yet two of the judges gave it to him, one as a shut out.

It was in Michigan, and on Friday night fights Teddy Atlas went balastic. He was cussing out people from the Michigan state Athletic commission, and the fights met with protest and disgust at the venue and across the boxing world.

I've never seen another fighter almost totally shut out his opponent only to see a shut out score favoring the opponent.

It was unbelieveable, and still makes me sick to think about it.

          The fight was close.

There's no need to cop attitude and act like it wasn't.

It could have been scored by a round either way, and everywhere I read people were split on it.

I don't score with regard to who I like better, and I had Hopkins winning the fight 115-113.

I don't have a problem with those who scored it for Taylor because it was close, but don't tell me it's not possible to have it scored for Hopkins when many people did.

It was a close fight, by no means a robbery, but it easilly could have been scored for Hopkins by a round.

If you want to win in Germany the only way it can be done is by ko.
That was a really bad decision. Boxing in Germany is just so incredibly corrupt that it wasn't too surprising though.

Worst one I ever saw was for the British welterweight title. David Barnes vs Jimmy Vincent. Barnes was actually getting that bad a beating Frank Warren wanted him pulled out at the end of the eighth, but he had a good ninth so they kept him in. No one could believe it when the ref raised Barnes's hand. Basically he was the golden boy whereas Vincent was the journeyman come good, so he obviously wasnt worthy of the win despite the fact he KTF out of Barnes

I saw that too. When Atlas was yelling at the COMMISIONER, that fool did not know the difference between a majority and split decision. Also the ref penalized a point against Augustus when Burton fouled!! That fight was a sham. Didn't Atlas swear to never to come back to Michigan until it got fixed up there?
