Comments Thread For: Cano Vows That Malignaggi Will Not Reach Hatton Shot

Interim WBA Light Welterweight champion Pablo Cesar Cano will be making his second appearance on US soil as he will be taking on current WBA Welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY this Saturday night.

Cano is best remembered for his war with Erik Morales as he went into that fight as an unknown undefeated fighter from Mexico and gave Morales all he could handle. Since his loss in that bout, Cano feels he’s learned quite a bit and it will benefit him against Malignaggi.

I remember it a little differently. I saw Morales rearrange the poor guys face. He looked like something Picasso might have painted lol I seriously thought it was a career changing loss.

        Well

I remember Morales saying that Cano punches hard. This is the first time I have heard Morales say that about another boxer

I never went back to rewatch the fight, but I remember Cano looking like he had a game plan and it was working - then all the sudden he got ****** into Eric's pace and Cano never dug himself out.

If Cano couldn't KO an old Morales at 140, he won't hurt a bigger Paulie. Paulie's chin may even be better than Morales', I'm saying it is, and he boxes. I won't discuss Paulies lack of power other than to say, Cano's ears will ring as long as it lasts.

No one has KO Morales so cant measure him like that.

Eric was Stopped twice, but his beard is more durable than Paulies. Just different styles.
