Seriously what's the reasoning behind what you just said?
I must of missed the part where Lennox knocked Vitali down 4 times. To me, that is more impressive than cutting your oppononent's face open (which more or less is just luck, quoting Jim Lampley) and get the doctor to stop the fight even though the opponent was well able to continue fighting. That's the reasoning behind my statement.

Too bad it's still a lot better than your average post.

Besides that, how long is he going to wait? he's already said that if can't get one of them he's not interested in fighting other contenders, i.e. he'll retire.

I'd fancy Haye to beat a lot of those other contenders too, he is a top fighter and it would strengthen his legacy and boost the popularity of the sport as well as his own but he's not interested in that.

All he's interested in is the money from a Klitschko bout, he doesn't even care which one as long as he gets another payday.

        Now re-read your own post.

You will truly NEVER get over this. And that's sad.

          Absolutely.

I agree with Lennox here. I think Haye warranted a match with his impressive knockout of Chisora 100%. Loudmouth or not, he's the best available opponent IMO.

The best heavyweight of our time has spoken (and possibly the greatest heavyweight of all time) - Lennox Lewis.

Vitali needs to stop running, man up and fight the Hayemaker.

Lennox Lewis is not the greatest HW of all-time based on career, era, and full resume. H2H He's in the Top 5 for sure.

That's why I laugh at the people who think prime versions of Wlad and Vitali beat every other HW prime for prime in any era. Wlad got KO'd by Sanders and Vitali lost 2-3 rounds against a way past it and out of shape Lennox. Prime for prime, Lennox beats both Klitschko's.

Im a huge fan of Haye and lewis but i dont think they beat Wlad as he is now. Under Manny Steward he has become very sound defensively with KO power. People question his chin, but haye connected flush in round 3 and 12 and Wlad withstood it. I think Haye should get the fight simply as there are no other fighters ready for the Klitschko's. Maybe Povetkin, but he wont step up. My heart wants me to believe that Haye will win, but my boxing brain tells me Vitali wins a fairly wide UD. I know that Vitali is coming to the end of his career and is more vulnerable than Wlad, but i can only see Haye being competitive in the opening rounds and then fading and going into survival mode. Haye always has a punchers chance though!

I dont see how you can put him above ali, foreman or frazier. He was a very good fighter and at the time the best heavyweight in the world. But watching back the Vitali fight, Lennox was lucky to escape with his dignity as he would have lost the fight if Vitali wasnt cut. Regardless that Lennox caused the cut, that isnt anyway of winning convincingly. If Lennox has dominated him then maybe but there should have been a rematch.

I like Lennox a lot, I hope he gives Haye the same advice he gave to all of the other guys that faced Vitali LOL.
