Brook is a very average fighter in every way, he could easily lose to anyone decent who has a strong will to win and a decent gameplan.

Anyone who is A) already mentioning the possibility of a loss and B) willing to actually quit after ONE LOSS shows they no longer belong in the game of Boxing! Losing is what makes a fighter learn what they need to work on and grow. He is acting WAY too fragile with talk like this!

Extremely talented, but a complete MENTAL MIDGET. He's already thinking about the end of his career.

The pressure will be on for him to win spectacularly. That fight with Carson Jones, he almost lost to a journey man. He gassed out in the 2nd half of the fight and almost got finished.

He makes perfect sense to me. That Jones fight was hell for Brooks and if he wins like that again, he might as well quit. No disrespect, maybe he had a bad night, but if that is the true, best level of his abilities and the little known Saldivia gives him a fight, a championship may be out of his reach. He's being realistic beyond anything Khan has said until recently, though it sounds like self doubt, it's more like a self examination. I prefer this to the cliches like "I'm going to knock the bum out" or "he never faced anyone like me". This is a real guy with real concerns and he's looking for answers.

Try boxing for six rounds with a busted nose, you might just gas out too.

I don't like that attitude aswell. It makes me question kell's mindset.
Khan is not positive: he's delusional, plain & simple. And Jones may have taken Brook's heart with him......

Don't see wiggling out of your promotional contract as a duck. Then, he fights Pacquaio (who is head, shoulders & feet better than Khan). Help me understand.....

Au contraire, I know what boxing is and what it has become. This "business" wasn't like this before. Fights were made that should have been made - now everyone brings up the "business" excuse. Back in the day, cats fought once a month, sometimes 2x/month & didn't get a title shot till they had about 40-50 fights. These cats nowadays fight 1-3 times a year, meanwhile time isn't on anyone's side and are coddled. You get a title shot, TAKE IT. He would be fighting for the title the man who (on paper) beat Pacquaio and if he wins, his stock goes up. If he loses, he lost to the champion (from which he can still regroup from). If he loses to Saldivia, not only he does not get the title shot, he starts from square one (and that's why he's mulling retirement because he knows he can't go through that again). Not bright. People like you don't seem to realize that there is no sure thing boxing and that you can still make money by making and winning good fights and if the opportunity comes, you TAKE IT. And for the record, I hope Saldivia sends Brook into retirement.

Now, he's questioning himself whether he has it or not. And if he's doing that, then he should quit - RIGHT NOW. Don't even fight Saldivia....
