Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: If I Lose To Saldivia, I Will Quit Boxing

KELL BROOK has vowed to retire if he loses to Hector Saldivia at the weekend.

Unbeaten Brook faces the Argentinian in an IBF welterweight title eliminator in his hometown of Sheffield knowing victory will keep him on track to face Amir Khan next year.

But Brook, 26, admits it will be curtains for his career if he is defeated.

Be careful what you say, boxing is the theater of the unknown. Anything can happen in a bout.

I hope he losses lol Something about this guy that is not right. He's been talked about being special but never really stepped up in class. Hope he changes my mind on Saturday. IMO over hyped.

I'm a fan of Kell's, but I hate it when fighters say things like this as it makes me question their mindset a little. Still, its only words and I dont see him having too much trouble with Saldivia.

If you can't beat Hector Saldivia, then you are not a world class boxer and if that's the reason you're in the sport, then retiring is probably best. I don't think he's going to lose to Saldivia though.

I thought I was the only one, LOL. He should retire based on the fact he turned a title shot w/Bradley for an ELIMINATOR, with Saldivia. Idiot.....

Arrogant thing to say. May cost him. Wonder what he has to fall back on

I don't like this kind of attitude, but i think Saldivia is a serious threat to Brook. Saldivia is a beast, he will give Brook hell

This. And Brook is way too young to be saying **** like this. Reminds me of Khan a bit actually.
