Abril was robbed badly, terrible decision. I had Rios winning 2 rounds, although could have won 3 or possibly 4 at very most.

BUT.. Rios was clearly weight-drained and I didn't think Abril was all that great. It was a sloppy fight, lots of holding, hitting and grabbing behind the head. Much of the time Abril didn't do shit, he just held on and stood in the pocket to let Rios whale on his left arm. The commentators were biased as hell towards Abril.

My opinion, while I think Abril can give Rios problems regardless, Rios could very well stop him if not weight drained. Abril does not have the power to keep Rios off of him.
Abril does have a decent power and when he sits on them he can hurt anybody, he doesn't do it often though

        Lmao

        You kill me sometimes, bro!

Anyway...there was nothing close about that fight. Abril defeated Rios completely and conclusively. The gap in skill between those two is stark. That's not going to change.

Maybe Brandon was drained against Richard, but he's been drained before and he did okay. The fact is, however, that Rios came into the fight overweight. "Bam Bam" had a little help Abril didn't have, in the form of a few extra pounds.

It'd be cool with me if there were a rematch; but it would probably be a replay of the first bout, perhaps with a little more action. I could see Rios trying to press the fight more, but getting frustrated every step of the way.
