Why is this guy even getting HBO coverage? He's trash.

I wonder if he'll keep fighting tomato cans, instead of taking on Wlad.

Edit: I guess the winner will get Vitali's WBC belt (when he retires)?

        It wasn't a FINAL eliminator.

So you don't even know sanctioning organizations have eliminators for higher positions in rankings?

Another example: Adamek-Cunningham is an eliminator for the #2 IBF ranking.

Mitchell-Banks will be a quarterfinal eliminator. If Vitali retires, the winner will fight the winner of Stiverne-Arreola for the WBC title.

This is crazy if this fight is televised by HBO yet the Heavyweight champion isn't shown on HBO.

              True.

But according to Dan Rafael, the fight may not even happen this year because Don King can't get it on a major TV network. He may default on his purse bid, and then it would be a Goossen promotion and probably happen on the Pavlik-Ward card and be on HBO.

Apparently, Fury vs Johnson is also a WBC eliminator

American Kevin Johnson has been named as Tyson Fury's new opponent for the WBC heavyweight world-title eliminator in Belfast on 1 December.
British fighter Fury was originally scheduled to take on Denis Boytsov but the Russian withdrew last month.

Yes, but not a final eliminator.

Whoever wins Fury-Johnson will be in the next WBC final eliminator.

People said there's no way HBO is televising a card from Mexico, too. This fight will be on HBO.
