I disagree. manny's aura is very much his KO power. when he doesn't get a KO, what are you left with? You have the JMM fights which many said he lost because he couldn't deal with JMM's counterpunching. the Mosley/tim fights, were manny blowouts (IMO) but exsposed his inability to deal with movement, or the clottey/marg fights which many people felt was like watching manny punch an inadimate object for 36 minutes.

I think people pay/watch a manny fight for the same reasons they do a Tyson fight. when you buy/watch a floyd fight, you know what you are getting so you prepare for a lopsided UD.

Posters in this site are becoming more and more dishonest nowadays. They're like kids who say the darnedest things and get away with it just like Mayweather and Arum. One time they say Pac has slowed down; he's already past his prime; he's done, which is true based on his lackluster performances in his last fights. And now all of a sudden he's still a monster and Rios has to be protected like a child.

      Make up your minds, people.

So rios vs PAC at 147 would be to PACs advantage since like u said rios have never fought in that weight. Have manny fought at 154?? So with PAC u guys just like to toss him around like oh he's suppose to fight that person at 140 if he really wanna make a statement then u guys go and say oh PAC can fight this other guy then at 154. So what is it???
you do that alot. instead of debating my points, you bring up something another poster said and expect me to answer that. I can't do that as I have no idea what that poster was thinking when they made that post.

yes manny has fought in the 154 lb division. he was the jmw champion remember.

As for 140, alot of manny's fans claim he is a blownup JWW. if thats the case, then the logical question is why doesn't he fight these JWW at 140 instead of 147? Is the question not fair?

As for me, my point is simple. If you say floyd/manny are equal since they are the top 2 ww in the world, should they not fight ,whoever floyd is expected to fight (Martinez) so should manny. It's not about manny losing for me, its about equal standards.

If manny isn't expected to fight sergio then that means he and floyd are not on the same level IMO. As for a possible rios fight-my disagreement is with makavelli and any other poster saying this fight would be a war. IMO, rios is nowhere near manny's level and will be the smaller fighter-hence manny hurts him real bad.

you and the other diehard fringe manny fans claim he's past his prime when discussing a floyd fight because his performances in his last 3 fights suggest he will get embarassed by floyd-which is something posters like you would rather die than see given your disdain for floyd and love for manny

I'm looking forward to Floyd's next fight. I hope it won't take him long to announce it. It should be unacceptable to see him fight in mid 2013. That's effing one year apart from his last fight. Man, what is he doing with all that free time of his? Why can't he just retire?

A lot of people on here remind me of the same people who are scared of Morales getting killed or seriously injured against Maidana. Come on people Rios has a chin made of stone and a heart like no other. Let the fight happen, Rios wii do much better than most people think, he will lose but not like Hatton or Cotto. He will finish the fight standing....

because he is the biggest star in boxing. he fights once a year becasue he gets paid enough that he doesn't have to fight more frequently.

every fighter wished they could be floyd and make $40 mil for 36 minutes work. you know any other jobs payin $1 mil plus per minute?
