am I in the twilight zone?? why are people pushing for this fight. I get lots of people hate Rios with a passion, but why send him in to receive serious damage. Pac will eat him up. A relentless, brutal assault by pac. Rios has nothing, never had anything, and never will have anything. It'll be a heavy bag session for pac. God I hope not. I hate Rios and all, but I dont wish serious pain on him..

fully agreed but thats still not right. He can get seriously injured in this one, especially if manny doesnt show compassion. Rios does not belong in the same locker room as manny, let alone fighting him. hope it doesnt get made, no fighter deserves permanent damage...

This and this. Rios is all heart blood 'n guts but all of that won't help him against a technically superior boxer like Pacquaio. Rios-Pacqauio would be Hatton-Pacquaio all over again including the brutal knockout.

IMO, most manny fans enjoy seeing him KTFO of people, not necessarily win a competitive boxing match. A rios manny fight is perfect for them: rios coming up to 147 means manny will be bigger, stronger, faster and a highlight reel KO is more likely.

The weight difference between 140-147lbs wouldn't play a role in this, Rios although entertaining, is simply not an elite level fighter. If the fight happens, I'd expect him to get KO'd regardless of the weight they fight at.

it's going to be a pac vs margarito type beatdown. pac is not going to fight on the inside or keep himself stuck on the ropes like most of rios' victims did..pac's going to try and use that quick in and out movement and pepper rios all night with hard quick flurries. unless pac is really past his prime i see pac winning by late TKO.

pac wins by KO regardless if hes past it or not. pac has infinite more skills than rios ever had or will have, and past it or not, those skills will put rios out.

Yup manny will be the bigger one here because rios could barely make 140 without cleaning out the whole buffet right? The hate in here is strong I think I better put my shades on. People complain about seeing the same fights from pac over and over and they complain about how PAC never fight a young fighter. Then when shiietz like this gets brought up the same people complain saying its a joke fight. So who should PAC fight? Jmm 5? Cotto 2? Bradley 2?? I wanna see something new not old recycle stuff. Stop dreaming about fantasy fights that won't happen.
