    interesting....someone commented on that vid saying they are his trainer and hes only been training for 6 weeks and said he has the power of his father and his first amatuer bout he dominated and scored 2 knockdowns, imo too early too tell he needs to lose sum serious weight haha

          i know coach rick a bit. he's a nice guy. i'm really not a fan of padwork in the floyd mayweather tradition. nobody is floyd mayweather... i dont think they get nearly as much from that sort of padwork as he does. especially for a novice (which this kid is,) the pads should be held much more traditionally.

            I think he needs to shift a bit of weight before doing anything else!

            Good work on the pads though, only really tells us he's got good reactions / co-ordination which you expect from from a youngster.

              Here some intresting information about Derrek and his first fight, trainings.

              "So for the last 13 weeks, he has fought his way into shape.
              Frazier managed to drop nearly 50 pounds, with the help of gym owner and boxing coach Freddy Anthony Rodriguez and coach Rick Coward of Philadelphia."

                    I have to say still dont understand very well may's pad work. Ok, it's all about reflexes and cordination, but more of a show than anything imo.
