If its in the contract that Donaire has to fight him within the next 3 fights and Donaire doesn't then Bob will be in breach of contract no? Unless a specific weight wasn't agreed on (I hope Hyde is smarter than this). Then Donaire would move up to 126 and Rigo would have to chase him. Rigo is too small for 126 and IMO a small 122 lber too.

Donaire doesn't want it, he's already thinking about moving up.
Too bad Rigo is willing to go up to fight him.

So Gary Hyde might be vital to Rigo after all...

From the little I know about Hyde, he seems to be a pretty hard charger. The recent incident where he took Rigo's contract to court benefited both he and Guillermo. It's all self-serving, of course, but who cares if Gary's making his fighter money in the process?

As much as I want this fight to happen, it should stay at 122. Rigondeaux's chances would be lowered vs Donaire at 126 imo.

I don't see it. Not saying it's not possible, but it just doesn't seem likely. Nonito would have to agree to it. How can Bob guarantee that? The day that happens, we'll all know about it because they'll be announcing a date for the fight.

Hyde seems to have good interests in Rigo. It is exemplified simply by him still doing business with TR. To me he's coming across decent, although I am a bit critical of him with his job on the three other Cubans in Ireland.
