Thanks, I'll check him out. I had heard he was good.

As for Uchiyama, I've really only seen clips of his KO's but his power does look imposing. Shame Broner didn't fight him before moving up in weight.

Not seen much of Uchiyama at all but I agree I would really have liked Broner to have gone to Japan to fight him.

Ioka looks great, skills, power, timing. He looks the real deal.

The fight where he won his title he looks very impressive.

This is what i thought it was until i started reading Floyd fans ask what has Pac done recently that justifies him being no1?

Well when Pac was beating Margarito who was 3 divisions bigger than Pac fight night, Pac destroying Hatton and DLH and Cotto.
It would be safe to assume if Pac was the same size as Floyd he would destroy Floyd.

Pacs not FLoyds size, yet Floyd wont fight him and says hes on drugs as hes beating common opponents better than he ever could or would.

Thats a good enough for Pac to be no1 isnt it?

That isn't how logic works. There's nothing about beating those guys that suggests Pacquiao would "destroy Floyd", because none of those fighters possess the attributes Floyd possesses. If you think the only thing stopping Manny from destroying Floyd is Floyd's size, then you haven't been paying attention.

            • Donaire is above Ward because he was in my top 10 pfp before Ward.

How come floyd beating Cotto and SSM in 5 years makes Floyd no1?

SSM was considered top 10 p4p when Floyd beat him, but we have got the benefit of hindsight to revise rankings you know? Floyd cant be above Donair, JMM Ward and Martinez who have been busting their asses off.
You don't even have Floyd ranked on YOUR pfp list. Stop crying cry baby.

                • I have no issues with that list other than I'd swap Pacquiao with Ward. Ward hasn't just beaten everybody, he hasn't even just outclassed everyone; he's looked untouchable doing it. Absolutely untouchable. To me, #1 and #2 is a pick between Floyd and Ward, and the order of those depends on how much you decide Floyd's relative inactivity matters. Cotto was very good, in very good shape and got his tactics right against Floyd, but Floyd's defensive work on the inside was just mind-blowing. So those two are clearly ahead of a guy who arguably failed at three attempts to beat Marquez.

I might squeeze Gamboa into the top ten too. I think that guy is fantastic. Again, his inactivity probably keeps him out for now, but I'm sure he'll be a top-10 in the next few years.
