Great weekend for boxing. May have had both the FOTY and KOTY.

Although, I also loved Mattyhsse/Ajose.

Yea you right I forgot about Mathysse vs Ajose. So it comes down to Mathysse vs Ajose, Maidana vs Karass, and Rios vs Alvarado. Honestly Alvarado vs Herrera was really good and was'nt really noticed by many.

agreement. there have not been many other great fights this year. while this wasnt a fight on the level of gatti - ward 1, morales - barerra 1, corrales - castillo 1, etc it was still the best fight this year by a long shot.


there are still some fights coming up, too. i'm not sure i've got anything circled on the calendar as a potential fight of the year, but boxing is always full of surprises.

Absolutely. My top choice for both guys at the moment, although I love both of them so it will be bittersweet.

I thought Maidana-Karass was better.

Also a great fight.
