It was a great fight and so far the best this year thus far. It was cut short though. Id have no problem with a rematch....i think that one would be even better!

This fight gets my vote for fight FOTY. The whole time I was Like Oh f**k oh s**t damn dude is still standing after that. Taking piss breaks between rounds from all the rolling rocks I had. Didn't want to miss a round of this fight. On the Donaire fight I took a couple of Blunt breaks during that fight I am not gonna lie. It wasn't Donaire fault though I am glad he got the TKO victory that other dude was pissing me off.

Exactly this makes more sense. Alvarado was'nt considered the best 140 pounder not by a long shot. Do Rios vs Bradley before Pacquiao. Do Rios vs Lamont Peterson, Rios vs Judah, Rios vs Morales or even Barerra. The best fight that can be made is Rios vs Mathysse not the fight we just watched. Rios vs Guzman, Rios vs Spadafora, Rios vs Maidana, Rios vs Khan, Rios vs Vargas. There is soo many fights to be made but Arum is a money hungry idiot and uses HBO to convince you all you're seeing the best vs the best. Alvarado was a Top Rank only fighter and so is Rios far from the best in the division. You can't just say that they are the best because they match up well.
